AIIMS 2013 Entrance Exam
The admissions to the MBBS course in Six AIIMS like Institutions is through the entrance examination conducted for admission to MBBS course in AIIMS New Delhi. If you are desirous of being considered for admission to any of the six institutions apart from AIIMS New Delhi, you should indicate your preference in the application itself. However, allotment will be done on the basis of merit-cum-choice.

Number of Seats
There are a total of 72 seats in AIIMS Delhi - General: 37; SC: 11; ST: 5; OBC: 19; Foreign Nationals: 1. There are 600 more seats (100 per institute) in the six new AIIMS like institutions.
Exam Centers
The test will be held in Ahmedabad, Bangaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna and Raipur.
AIIMS Exam Pattern
Entrance exam consists of 200 objective type questions with 200 marks (1 mark per question). The duration of exam is 3 hour & 30 minutes. There are 60 questions in each Physics, Chemistry & Biology and 20 questions in GK. AIIMS exam not only tests your subject knowledge, but also tests how much general awareness you have through its GK paper. There is one-third negative mark for each incorrect answer.

if there is state wide quota, how many seats are available for andhra pradesh?
